Tetamu Senja
|
|
Tetamu Senja
oleh A. Samad Said
Kita datang ini hanya sebagai tetamu senja
Bila cukup detik kembalilah
Kita kepadanya
Kita datang ini kosong tangan dada
Bila pulang nanti bawa dosa bawa pahala
Pada tetamu yang datang dan
Kenal jalan pulang
Bawalah bakti mesra kepada
Tuhan kepada Insan
Pada tetamu yang datang
Dan lupa jalan pulang
Usahlah derhaka pula
Pada Tuhan kepada insan
Bila kita lihat manusia lupa tempat
Atau segera sesat puja darjat
Puja pangkat
Segera kita insaf kita ini punya kiblat
Segera kita ingat kita ini punya tekad
Bila kita lihat manusia terbiar larat
Hingga mesti merempat ke laut biru
Ke kuning darat
Harus kita lekas sedar penuh pada tugas
Harus kita tegas sembah
Seluruh rasa belas
Kita datang ini satu roh satu jasad
Bila pulang nanti bawa bakti padat berkat
Kita datang ini satu roh satu jasad
Bila pulang nanti bawa bakti padat berkat

HOLIDAY BREAK AT CORNWALL
|
|
Alhamdullillah...percutian di Cornwall memang best...banyak tempat2 menarik yang tak sempat nak pergi...the best attraction yang sempat were The Minack theatre and Eden Project.. walaupun tak pergi semua tapi Cornwall tu sendiri memang cantik..especially the beaches..so..kami byk menghabiskan masa menikmati keindahan alam ciptaan Tuhan...
FIRST DAY, 02 MAY 2008
Tintagel Castle, Tintagel Head
Fistral Bay, Newquay
SECOND DAY, 03 MAY 2008
Geevor Tin Mine, Pendeen
Land's End, Sennen
It's a place of almost mystical beauty where the might of the Atlantic meets the towering cliffs of Cornwall - a place where nature is still one of the big attractions.
The Minack Theatre, Porthcurno
The rocky theatre in gardens
St Michael's Mount, Marazion
An island – which we can walk to when the tide is low..
THIRD DAY, 04 MAY 2008
Future World@Goonhilly, Helston
Goonhilly was once the world's largest earth station with over 60 dishes pointing into space, but now houses the unique Future World attraction. Goonhilly was responsible for sending and receiving millions of telephone calls, TV pictures, faxes and internet connections around the globe.
Pendennis Castle, Falmouth
Marina Bay, Falmouth
FOURTH DAY, 05 MAY 2008

More than 1,000,000 plants representing 5,000 species from many of the climatic zones of the world. Many of these can grow in the mild conditions of Cornwall, others need greenhouses and that is where Eden's two gigantic Biomes - the biggest conservatories in the world.

"Snow puts spring on hold"
|
|
Hari ni tetiba snow..tebal jugak. Terasa nak main n posing2...Dah lame tak posing dlm snow since we 1st arrived Dec 2005. So nasib baik Mirul bangun awal. Hanya Mirul yang mampu 'tarik' abah dia bangun... So..First time Mirul main snow kat UK..excited kemain...kami tak pergi Beacon Hill...main snow kat Marlepit Hill je...jaaadilah tapi tokleh lame2..Mirul dah sedia selsema...dlm setengah jam je...
'Heavy snow is falling across the UK as early signs of spring are replaced by winter weather.
Overnight snow started falling in the North East, Manchester and north Wales and headed down towards the Midlands in the early hours.Snowfall was later reported in Birmingham and Loughborough and by 6am it was snowing heavily in London.North Wales was experiencing a second wave of snowfall.Forecasters said the snow was settling in places but it is not expected to cause problems on the transport network. The Met Office has issued a number of flash warnings of severe or extreme weather. It warns there is at least an 80% chance of heavy snow and widespread icy roads across Northern Ireland, north Wales and northwest England as well as a strong possibility of heavy snow in the West Midlands, southwest England and London and the South East.Temperatures dropped significantly this weekend after an unseasonably warm week that saw the hottest day of the year on Thursday. The wintry weather moved southwards last night, becoming more widespread through England and Wales and bringing temperatures of between 0C and -3C.Today is expected to be another cold and wintry day.April is known for its changeable weather, and it seems that this year is no exception. Two weeks after a white Easter, the weather became significantly more spring-like last week with temperatures soaring to 18C in a number of places across the UK.Thursday was the warmest day so far this year in Inverbervie, Aberdeenshire, which hit 18.9C.The Met Office warned last week that this summer is likely to be hotter and wetter than usual. It is predicting a return to the traditional British summer of "three fine days and then a thunderstorm".But forecasters refused to rule out a repeat of last year's torrential rain, which caused widespread flooding. Nor would they rule out an extremely dry summer.'
